The day that diners on Terre Haute’s north side have been waiting for has arrived. The new Pizza Hut WingStreet restaurant on the corner of Lafayette Ave. and Fort Harrison Rd. will open on November 22.

“We’re excited to unveil the new North Terre Haute location,” said Mark Achenbach, vice president of operations for Wabash Valley Pizza Hut, Inc. “It’s just the third Pizza Hut WingStreet unit built in the country using the newest design created by Pizza Hut, Inc., and it’s the first unit of this design with the extended dining room and new entry lobby.”

Sandy Hensley, store manager, said, “Our customers are especially going to love the convenience of the new pick-up window, so they can drive through to get their pizza, wings, pasta and drinks without having to leave their vehicles.”

She added, “Inside, the WingStreet location offers both booth and table seating. A new feature is the dining room’s five flat-screen televisions, so guests can enjoy sporting events or other programming while they dine.”

The addition of WingStreet products to the Pizza Hut menu means many more items are available to customers, including three types of wings, eight sauce choices, salads, sandwiches, potato wedges, chicken tenders and cheese sticks, along with the popular pizza products and salad bar, Hensley said.

The first Pizza Hut in North Terre Haute opened on April 21, 1976, and it has enjoyed outstanding customer support ever since. Hensley has managed the store for more than 25 years.
